Patel "subject in custody" – then released
Hours after the shot, FBI director posted that "the subject" was apprehended. Walked back within about two hours. A separate campus arrestee who claimed he was the shooter was not.
The campus arrestee later pleaded to obstruction and two counts of sexual exploitation of minors (unrelated to being the shooter). This file does not host that material.
